With Consumers Energy Group, you’ll have emergency service 7 days per week. Our contract covers all parts and repairs to the oil burner or the oil burner located on the water heater. This also includes cleaning and replacement of fuel filters & strainers, adjustment of controls, adjustment of flame and draft control, lubrication of motors and parts, boiler relief valve, belts, Honeywell T87 type thermostat , and a summer tune_up.
During the summer tune-up, we inspect and check your oil burner to ensure it is operating within factory specifications and set for maximum efficiency.
BURNER ADJUSTMENT & EFFICIENCY TESTING
Combustion testing is no longer an option, it’s a necessity. New technology has been incorporated into oil burners such that the burner can no longer be adjusted by eye. Yet, even to this day, many oil companies or buying groups will not use electronic analyzers when adjusting your oil burner. That’s means they are relying on guesswork.
With Consumers Energy Group, every technician is equipped with an electronic analyzer, thereby ensuring your burner is adjusted with the latest technology. That means you will burn fuel more efficiently. Your CEG technician can provide you with a computer printout of the test results.
